The Plumeria Hostel and The Plumeria
The Plumeria Complex has (3) 2 story buildings on a very convenient corner location in the Ala Moana/lower Makiki section of Honolulu. The Plumeria Hostel is on Piikoi St, between King and Beretania Streets. The Bus, on routes 1,2,13, passes by us every 10 minutes or so. Ala Moana Shopping Center is the major Bus hub for the island and is .7 mile down Piikoi St. Ala Moana Beach Park is across the street from the shopping center.
Two Supermarkets (Safeway & Times) are within a block of us; and Walmart is three blocks away. There are many restaurants with in easy walking distance – Zippy’s, Chinese, Subway, sushi, Vietnamese, McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in The Box, Korean, Thai, plate lunch, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Italian, Japanese – all with in a block of Plumeria. Kama'aina Rooms
The Plumeria Hostel is the only hostel in Honolulu which has a separate building for people moving to Honolulu who are looking for a short term room to rent while they get established on Oahu. Our Hostel rooms and Rooms for Rent are in separate buildings on the corner lot at 1101-1107-1111 Piikoi Street. Guests must still have a plane ticket to Honolulu, however we do not require a ticket off island for Kama'aina rooms.
